I loveeeee this place great people great area .. Resteraunts everywhere an stores within 2 blocks away the rooms are always clean the owner is so nice an anything she can do for you she will .. A+++++ motel for me :) (Update) 5/31/23 Still the one & only motel/hotel I go to when I want to relax have peace and quiet! Sonia is a great person an she's helped me numerous times when she didn't have to at all! Her daughter an sons are so respectful & kind willing to lend a helping hand whenever they can. I've been treated with nothing but kindness would recommend hillside to anyone who needs a lil getaway from everyday life its so calm & there's so many things to do so close by very convenient! Rooms are always so clean & smelling good whatever you need Sonia will give you or direct you to where to get it ! Overall a year later an this is still a great place to come ! I was a tenant of theirs for over 18 months from february 2015 to september 2016. Me, my boyfriend, 2 year old daughter and service dog. They are the most amazing people. They helped me and my family out many times. They take care of their tenants and care about them. I will never be able to repay their kindness. I will ALWAYS stand up for these folks. Got stuck here in Mattapoisett MA during my ride down to North Carolina I didn’t really budget for a stop like this and i needed something cheap just to spend the night or too till I solved my car dilema. I was excited to find a quiet spot at this place Hillside Motel very late and pleased to find out there they had a room open. The room was clean and shower was hot. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place just to get away for a great discount. Employees were very helpful and nice too.
It is a great value compared to other area hotels. Its not the Ritz Carlton but its not $500 per night either. The owners care about their customers and are very attentive. Its also in a convenient location too.
My husband and I stayed here for about 9months .we washed all beddingatbtheblocal laundry mat shampoo the carpet,hung new shower curtain and rings put down rings turned the yellow shower white with a magic erase,freezer for our room and we left it for the next person,not a bad spot very quiet! Owner is very nice! Our room was very cute when we left Just needs a little updo/TLC
